Welcome

Let’s take a moment to reflect on migration and what it means to each and every one of us as individuals and more importantly, ask the most important question for us: what is migration?
For some migration is a choice, while for others a choice would be a blessing for them. While some choose to find a better suited place for resources, others must go due to laws and regulations that force them to migrate.
As a part of the Cultural Crossroads: Migration and Community Transformation 2017 Fall course, the goal is to select a group of people who migrated to and from our community and see what changes or impact was left by their presence. In my case the Wichita County, or more directly the City of Wichita Falls would be the community I study throughout this semester.
Take a gander to the “Project Updates” page to keep up with the progress of my research, or click on the “About the Blogger” page to learn more about me! I recommend you also look into these other sites which feature the students who are in my class and read about their projects!
Throughout my websites pages and posts I have a song featured; this way it is more interactive and fun to read my blog’s updates. When viewed on a desktop the songs play automatically on a loop; you must click play if viewing on a phone or tablet. The songs that are featured are amongst the top songs in my personal playlist so I hope you enjoy them!
